These new pieces, which have been in stores since late summer, are already emerging as bestsellers. The Hampton Spirit's screen-shaped case, which last year appeared at select jewelers, paved the way for the current success of the Hampton City. The new model Hampton City retains the screen shape but with sportier variations for men and includes numerous ladies' models that can sport a steel Milanese bracelet. The Replica Rolex Daytona model with that bracelet, Nieto notes, was a runaway bestseller this fall. "The U.S., with these watches, is incredible," he observes. "We've had to reorder that ladies model [a Hampton City with diamonds] in late summer," he notes. Strong Design Just a few years ago, Nieto explains, the brand wasn't emphasizing its potential to create strongly designed pieces. The Hampton City has changed all that. "We are a brand that can change designs. We had been creative but didn't shout it. Now we are." Designed by Alexandre Peraldi, the company's director of product creation, the Replica Rolex Submariner watches are inspired by urban architecture, conveying a "panoramic view of time," according to the firm.
Now many brands are also releasing screen-shaped cases. "I think this shows we are in tune with the times, plus one day." During the interview, Nieto also unveiled the firm's newest advertising campaign. "Previously, we've had ads that emphasize luxury and product. Next year is the tenth anniversary of the Hampton watch, and Nieto says something special is in the works to celebrate the anniversary. However, the curious will likely have to wait until April, when the firm unveils all its new pieces at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva. Traditionally, when a top Swiss brand releases a single new 18-karat gold model, there is a major launch party at the Replica Rolex Datejust annual watch fair in Basel, Switzerland, accompanied by a huge, long-term marketing campaign, followed by one or two line extensions over the years.
